A calm, supported day-treatment setting for infusion-based therapies, so patients receive specialist treatment locally rather than travelling for each cycle.

  • Immunotherapy — for eligible patients as part of their treatment plan.
  • Targeted therapy — modern agents matched to the individual condition.
  • Supportive care — alongside treatment to help manage symptoms and side effects.
Transfusion medicine

Transfusion & Venesection

Transfusion support and therapeutic venesection delivered locally, with the monitoring and supervision these treatments require.

  • Transfusion support — for patients whose condition or treatment requires it.
  • Therapeutic venesection — for iron overload conditions such as haemochromatosis and polycythaemia.
  • Ongoing programmes — scheduled and monitored as part of long-term management.
Investigation

Investigating & Diagnosing Blood Conditions

Comprehensive haematological investigation, coordinated with local pathology services, to reach an accurate diagnosis and guide treatment.

  • Blood film review — specialist interpretation of blood counts and films.
  • Bone marrow examination — biopsy and aspirate where required for diagnosis.
  • Coordinated laboratory work-up — arranged with local pathology providers.
Collaborative care

Shared Care with GPs

Ongoing collaborative management with referring practitioners, keeping your GP informed and involved so more of your care can happen closer to home.

  • GP correspondence — clear, timely letters after each review.
  • Shared monitoring — practical plans that let stable patients be reviewed locally.
  • Advice line access — for referring GPs seeking specialist guidance.
Our approach

Compassionate, Confidential Care

A diagnosis affecting the blood can be daunting. We aim to make every visit calm and unhurried, treating each patient and their family with kindness, empathy and respect.

  • Kindness & empathy — time taken to listen, explain and support you through each step.
  • Confidentiality — your information and your privacy protected at every stage of care.
  • Support for families — care that considers the people around you, not just the diagnosis.
